CorInnova's technology portfolio includes 15 issued and 3 pending US patents. CorInnova has received 13 foreign patents to date, and has numerous international patents pending.  In late 2017, the Company received notice of allowance of a seminal patent to protect its intellectual property, covering key design aspects relating to minimally invasive delivery and deployment.

Innovation vs. Prior Art

CorInnova’s technology is a major break from prior art, including direct cardiac compression devices (partial and full), such as the Anstadt cup which surrounded the heart, and cardiac support devices, such as Acorn’s CorCap and Paracor’s HeartNet.
